I don’t know about where you live but here in Australia when you want to rent a car it is not the easiest or cheapest thing in the world to do. My car has been in the shop for the last two days. Mechanics are telling me it might be the transmission but they are so far behind they haven’t gotten fair time to give it an accurate look over yet. My Mum has been driving me to work the last few days but she’s set to travel to see her sister starting two days off so I am going to be stuck without a ride. My town has a few places to rent cars, but none of them is geared towards us locals, nor have I had any time to do any car rental comparison on them yet because I’ve been so busy with work. They are for tourists and I’m not too keen on having to pay tourist prices. I might just end up riding my old bike to work but at nine miles one way that is a long ways to be biking. I guess I’m going to have to go down to one of those rental places and demand a lower price, maybe speak to a manger and give him my piece of mind.
